Green Globe provides sustainability services and certification since 1993. Originally founded in the UK, the company is based in Los Angeles/California with Preferred Partnerships in Europe, Africa, Latin America, Caribbean, India as well as Asia.

To guarantee the highest international standard, Green Globe Certification adheres to ISO 19011 Guidelines for Auditing with independent auditors appointed to verify clients’ certification on- site. The certification process is offered in 5 languages: English, Spanish, French, German and Portuguese.

Green Globe updates its certification criteria annually to ensure international compliance. In addition to providing customer service in key areas, Green Globe offers a strong marketing component, supporting certified businesses with marketing through worldwide channels.

Green Globe Certification is a member of the Tourism Sustainability Council (TSC). The TSC is the agreed international standard for the sustainable operation and management of travel and tourism businesses. The Green Globe Standard meets and exceeds all the requirements of the TSC.
